Look the Other Way

This film was screened at the Royal Festival Hall in London to an audience of 3,000 people and helped raise over £135,000 in one evening for The Passage, a homelessness charity.

‘Look the Other Way’ investigates how people respond emotionally when faced with the stark realities of homelessness.

Geoff Kearns knows those realities all too well and was keen to get involved in the project. Teaming up with filmmaker Simon Waller, Geoff helped construct the virtual experience used in the film as well as volunteering at the two installation days, where participants were asked to 'swap places’ with a homeless person for a few brief moments and then feedback on how it felt.

‘Look the Other Way’ challenges people to consider their response to homelessness and offers them a way to make a difference.

The ‘Look the Other Way’ logo was designed by BacktoFront.
