I love Copenhagen
The Danish are suppose to be the happiest in Europe and I can see why! Copenhagen (the capital of Denmark) is incredible. The Caspian Sea is such a deep blue and then area is so flat that everyone hires bike and cycles around. I’ve never seen so many bikes and I love love love cycling so this was like a dream for me so I obviously had to hire one. The Danish are amazingly friendly and everything is so so sooo well designed. Maybe at times form over balances function but heck, it’s an amazing place.
The Öresund Bridge is a combined two-track rail and four-lane road bridge-tunnel across the Öresund strait. It is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe and connects the Danish capital of Copenhagen and the Swedish city of Malmö.
The Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen was designed by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for the airline Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) between 1956 and 1960. It was the largest hotel in Denmark when it was completed in 1960 and was the first skyscraper in Copenhagen. It is located in the heart of the city, close to Tivoli and the central station. Arnie Jacobson was born in Copenhagen and you can see many of his amazing creations like the lifeguard towers at Bellevue Beach and Swan chairs in most popular places.
There are some great Flea markets in Copenhagen – Most of their street lights are hung from wires and their metro is run by computer, which makes is a little crazy if you’re standing at either end of the train, as it’s just pure glass…
